Latest Blog is for learning

This the latest blog that I’ve installed.  I’ve lost count on how many I’ve installed over the past few years.  unfortunately, most of the blogs I’ve installed for clients and friends just haven’t lasted or ‘prospered’.  Certainly not for how I set them up, but for the typical reasons blogs go by the way.  Some sites just didn’t survive the domain renewal and most just never received the attention needed to maintain a blog discourse.  That’s unfortunate, because many that I built for friends and clients had an opportunity to offer something that just didn’t exist much online.

A blog, of course, is for a discourse of the author’s interest(s) to share with whomever might find it and be interested.  There is certainly a profuse selection of blog topics online, yet there is always room for a new piece of a topic or topics.  The trouble with blogs is the writing.  Or to be more accurate, the lack of motivation for blog authors to write on a regular basis.  Many or most languish with a lack of content until they are removed.  But, like so many thousands of web sites, many remain a shell of its original intent, gathering electronic dust.

So, why add yet another blog?  Well, this one isn’t intended to be a venue for publication of thoughts or opinion.  This isn’t even intended for people to find to peruse.  This is going to be used as a ‘learning’ platform for Grais Web Marketing.  Learning to use a blog?  No.  Learning the inner constructs of WordPress and learning more about the constructs of particular themes and even plug-ins.

Posting will likely be light and subjects will fulfill the need for content for review and design.  Perhaps, I may even post on occasion to just voice thoughts on particular topics of WordPress construct.
